Mr. Jakubzak began his career as a futures trader in 1978, as a commodity broker for one of the futures industry's oldest and most respected firms, Clayton Brokerage in St. Louis. He left Clayton in 1980 to trade his own account as a floor trader at Chicago's Mid-America Commodity Exchange. His success at that exchange enabled him to begin trading on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade, the largest futures trading exchange in the world at the time.
In 1987, Mr. Jakubzak was appointed Manager of the Managed Funds Division of First Commercial Financial Group, a futures brokerage in Chicago, where he was responsible for structuring and managing futures investment programs for First Commercial's clients. Shortly after joining First Commercial, Mr. Jakubzak registered as a Commodity Trading Advisor with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. He began trading client funds as KMJ Capital Management in 1989, and started managing the Currency Program in 1991.
Mr. Jakubzak holds an M.B.A. degree from the DePaul Graduate School of Business and a B.B.A. degree from Loyola University
